Our Mission Statement
Our mission is to inform and promote community
health. To support people with health and wellness needs by providing information, equipment and volunteer services. To provide palliative (Hospice) care for the terminally ill in order that they may experience death with dignity and limited pain.
This movie talks about the manual "Being Prepared for End of Life in Boquete" available at Mailboxes etc. and HERE
Our Being Prepared manual helps with the steps to get your end-of-life documentation in order before you visit your attorney here in Panama.
A message from our new Volunteer Manager
So, what do I want? I want you to have a great volunteer experience with BHH! After you submit your application, I will be chatting with some of you as we go down this road of learning about BHH. And if you're interested in taking on something here at BHH or want to try something new, contact me or Lesley Hughes. There are some empty slots we would love to fill.
If you have concerns, want to volunteer or try a new role, or are interested in learning more, shoot me an email and let’s chat (phone, Zoom, email; no snail mail). That’s it. I’m here to help you have a great time at BHH.
